Get back to basics with NoveList Training 101, a column intended to provide quick tips and advice for NoveList newbies and veterans alike.

This month, you're likely knee-deep in your summer reading programming -- did you

know NoveList contains expert-written articles to help with your summer reading programs? Do a basic search on "summer reading," then click the tab for Lists & Articles. You'll see everything from best practices to book lists.

We're also highlighting one of NoveList's best-loved features: Read-alikes. Summer is that time of year when many popular titles have longer wait lists. Read-alikes help you find books, authors, and series that are similar. Search for the title you are looking for, then look to the right for a list of nine read-alikes. You'll find author, series, and title read-alikes at the respective detail page. If your library subscribes to NoveList Select, you'll see read-alikes displayed in the detail record in your catalog.
