New Features in LibraryAware v1.2

Posted November 1, 2012

It’s already time for another round of updates to LibraryAware. This release includes some really big (read: awesome) new features, many of them customer-requested. You ask, and we listen!

The release is scheduled for November 13, 2012 (we'll send email confirmation of the exact date and time). Highlights of this release include the following:

Choose from new font options:

Expanded font options

More fonts will be available (and more are on the way). If you have a particular web font that your organization would like to use, we can install it in your LibraryAware account.

Share your work with others (before it goes out)

Need someone to take a look at what you’ve created before you send it? We added a “share” button to make that easier. Send the item to another LibraryAware user and they can tweak it or go ahead and publish it (depending on their privileges, of course).

QR codes

QR codes are a customer favorite. Adding a QR code to an item in LibraryAware is now as simple as clicking a button. Use the built-in LibraryAware URLs, or enter your own custom URLs. Either way, we’ll track how many people scan your code so you can measure success.

In every release, we also improve what’s already inside. This release also includes:

  • Email templates with more flexibility
  • Tracking data for sent mail
  • Advanced widget options
  • Single sign-on for help and feedback
  • Improved method of generating PDFs

We’ve already started working on the new features for v1.3 so watch for the next round. And, if you have an opinion about features you’d like to see in future releases, you can make suggestions and vote for your favorites. Just log into LibraryAware and go to the feedback area to submit your suggestions and votes.
